I've been doing what I call narrative RP lately, and as some of them have stalled or ended by now I'm looking for people willing to start new ones.
Here's how it work : we agree on some vague plotline, like "The main character, who can't find a job, tell his parents he's thinking of going back to school."
Then the two of us go blindly at it, each adding one after the other a part of narration or dialogs, or both, roughly the size of the text here - although those tend to get bigger when writters are into the story -, adding new characters, events and twists. All without telling each others what we're expecting, improvising as the other add things we weren't anticipating. It's quite fun, in my opinion. I've even done some when we wouldn't tell any plot beforehand, and it turned great.
So, this doesn't mean writting or co-writting a story one has in mind. You will end up frustrated if that's what you want. But from a basic plot it tend to add things one wouldn't have thought of alone. And for someone like me who get writter block, it's very useful.
So, is anyone willing to start one?
