Can you do it, please?

Very sensitive matter

What I don't understand is why anybody would post sensitive things on a forum without being highly vigilant about doing so safely now, and with an eye to future possibilities.

I've been online since 1996, actively posting stories and subjects that I'd die of embarrassment if anybody in my real life saw.

But I've never once been even close to caught, because I use aliases that have zero relationship to my real life, and I use alternative browsers (no shortcuts listed on desktop or elsewhere) in Incognito-type mode whenever I post.

I mean... even if they found that I do have Internet Explorer on my computer, they'd not bother to open it. Who would? That's why I use it for these sites.

I've got family and friends over all the time and nobody has a clue I hang out here or anywhere for 23 years. They know I'm online and they use my computer, but have never found out what I don't want them to.

I just never understand when people run into this problem. Good luck in hiding your trails online.

Can Heidegger just delete your name and not the stories?

That is an extreme amount of work. The only way you can be found on the Archive (besides visiting directly) is if someone searches by your username. I can change your username to something else pretty easily and update your posts to reflect that but there is no real way to delete everything.
