I agree with Alessi. Trip, you seem very arrogant and full of yourself, and you thrive on drama. Also, the constant promotion of your stories is getting tiresome.

I plan on e-publishing a story shortly. I will mention it on this site...once. Then I will shut the fuck up and start on the next story.

Finally, who cares (or even notices) the karma feature? You said yourself, your sales go up when you have low karma.

having read through this message thread it is a surprise that the ararchive has survived as long as it has. live and let live everyone. little trip (and others who have promoted their writing for sale here) have provided free content for our reading pleasure. i see nothing wrong with their enterprise. if the site doesn't evolve, it will die.

in the meantime, let's try to respect one another. if not, please, take a deep breath and step away from the keyboard.

Little trip tries to keep making out like the reason for his negative karma, is because he sells content. This is not the case. Many other people, such as Setomato etc do not have negative karma or the same issues here....

Wow...if LT marketing himself is anyone's idea of drama, then the intensity and pageantry of game shows such as Let's Make a Deal, and Press Your Luck must have them on the edge of their seat.

It's any person's right to try to make money off of a skill set they possess. It is not their right to complain that no one is buying their product, but then again, I don't perceive LT as doing that.

Yes, it can be a bit annoying when a writer shamelessly plugs their work while giving nothing to the community. There are more than a few authors that I can think of (no names mentioned because this archetype is way too prevalent) who make posts such as:

"In my story, I write about _____________.....blah. You can click on the _link_ below to my site and buy it on fapfiction.net." Never is there even a sample of their work, and don't get me started on contributing constructive criticism or analysis on someone else's story.

That's not LT either as far as I can see. He's posted plenty of stories FOR FREE and asked for nothing in return in the past, and from time to time he continues to do so. And I've seen comments from him on other people's stories that are genuinely reflective and thoughtful.

Hell, a while ago he even started an experiment where he wrote a free story where people could post and influence the plot. It stopped, I presume, because maybe three people (none of them who criticized LT for selling his stories) contributed.

I've never purchased any kind of AR, ageplay, AB/DL, fetish, fap, pornography, or whatever the things on sites like these constitute. I probably never will. I've got a hell of an imagination and on the days when I can stop arousing myself long enough to type it out on a keyboard with both hands, I publish stories on the internet. I don't need to spend money on that. All said though, I recognize that viewing the work of talented writers and artists for free is a privilege and not a right.

If the people who run these sites have a genuine problem with LT doing such "dramatic" things such as posting sample chapters from his stories as well as free and complete stories, I'm positive they'll inform him. If you don't like the show, don't watch it. If you don't like the story poster...don't click the friggin' _link_.

Pretty much what, personalias said. Sure LT peddles his wares, but he provides the community with free content as well; my favorite story being "21 New messages". The complaints about his "spamming" are silly considering he doesn't fill the board with messages whoring out his stories. He makes a topic whenever he wants to sell stuff and that's it.
